David Lawrason
|
David has been writing about and teaching wine since 1985; for thirteen years as weekly wine columnist with the Globe and Mail (ending 1999). In 2000 he received a lifetime Achievement Award from the Ontario Wine, Beer & Spirits Importers Association for fostering public knowledge and education of wine.
David is Editor-in Chief of Wine Access magazine, which he founded in 1991. It is now a full colour wine magazine distributed by subscription, and on newsstands, across Canada; owned by Redpoint Media Group of Calgary. Wine Access also operates an on-line service consisting of a First in Line E-Report on new releases. And each year Wine Access conducts the Canadian Wine Awards. His work also appears monthly in Toronto Life, the annual Toronto Life Wine, Beer and Spirits Guide (Red book), and Doctor's Review magazine. |
